Selling the State: Privatisation in Britain is a book by Cento Veljanovski (with assistance from Mark Bentley), published in 1987. This historical text provides an account of the privatization policies implemented in Britain up to that point. The book reflects on the experience that led to the introduction of privatization, the different forms it took, and the obstacles faced during the process. It's significant because it was one of the first books to comprehensively address this topic.
