Novel by Patrick Modiano that won the Prix Goncourt in 1978. The book follows Guy Roland, a private detective who searches for an unknown man, unearthing memories and identities through a web of witnesses. The France-Loisirs edition shown in the images features a two-tone cover design with a brown upper and red bottom band, and includes the imprint 'France Loisirs' with the publisher's address on the back panel.
