Heidi: Illustrated Classics

Heidi, an orphan, learns to love the cross grandfather she has never seen when she is sent to live with him above the Alpine village of Dorfli. She makes friends with Peter, the young goatherd, and his blind grandmother. She is happy with her mountain life but is sent to the city as a companion to Clara who is in a wheelchair. Heidi longs for her beloved mountains and eventually helps Clara and her grandfather.
